Description
This fountain, located 35 meters south of Danesfield House, dates from around 1900 and was commissioned by Mr. Robert Hudson. It is made of stone and features a circular pond. The central element consists of a wide shallow basin supported by a trefoil fluted pier that is wreathed with ivy. Above this, there is an upper shell basin held up by three dolphins, with a putto holding a shell positioned above. The fountain is included in the listing for its group value with Danesfield House.
