Description

Danesfield Bridge is a mid-19th century cast iron bridge that spans the A4155 Road. It features a flat span supported by two pairs of slender octagonal columns made of cast iron. These columns are anchored on piers constructed from knapped flint and brick. The end retaining walls are also made of knapped flint and brick. The bridge's balustrade has a diagonal lattice pattern and a rounded handrail. It was built to connect the former Danesfield House with its kitchen gardens.
