Description

Town End Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, which incorporates slight remains of an older building. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a first floor band course. The farmhouse has boarded eaves and an old tile roof, with a brick chimney located to the right. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows on the ground floor are 4-pane sashes, with the outer bays featuring gauged brick heads. There is a blocked window in the centre of the first floor above a 20th-century door. To the right, there is a single storey bay made of flint and brick, which has wooden casements. The interior reveals traces of a timber-framed building oriented on a different axis.
