Description
Scotts Farmhouse is an 18th-century house located in Maids Moreton. It is timber framed with regular rectangular panels of plastered infill and features a steeply pitched tiled roof with flanking brick chimneys. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys and an attic, comprising two bays. The ground floor includes canted bay windows with 20th-century casements, while the upper floor features 20th-century three-light casements. There is a paired casement window in the attic gable. The central entrance consists of a panelled door that is top-lit and sheltered by a wooden hood supported by cut brackets. To the left, there is a lower extension made of brick and rubble stone, which is whitewashed and has a slate roof with one low casement window. The rear wing of the house has one-and-a-half storeys.
