Description

Anchor Farmhouse is an 18th-century house located on Anchor Street in Tunstead. The house is constructed of brick and flint, with a pantile roof. It follows a lobby-entrance plan. The building is two storeys high, with a flint plinth. 19th-century windows are scattered throughout the facade. A blocked doorway is situated below an axial brick chimney stack. The ground-floor windows are casements with square heads, set under segmental arches. A moulded brick platband runs along the facade. Upper-floor casements are set within soldier arches, with some openings now blocked. The right-hand gable wall features a platband dividing the second floor from the attic, with a blocked attic window above.
