Description
Holly House is a house built in 1837, constructed from gault brick with a slate roof. It has two storeys and features three bays, with the central bay projecting forward. The entrance consists of a central half-glazed door that is sheltered by a Doric porch supported by fluted columns, topped with a plain entablature. The ground floor has sash windows set within blank recessed arches, while the first floor has three sash windows, all of which include glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. The building is finished with a modillion eaves cornice that extends into a pediment above the central bay, and it has a hipped roof. There are 18th and 19th century two-storey extensions at the rear.
