Description
Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with an early 19th-century rear wing. The building features a brick facade and brick and flint returns, topped with roofs made of black glazed pantiles. The two-storey facade has five bays that were added to an earlier structure and includes rusticated brick quoins. A semi-circular central porch with a curved panelled door is present, along with iron balcony rails above. The early 18th-century sash windows have thick glazing bars and are set under gauged skewback arches. There is a brick console eaves cornice and a hipped roof. To the south, there is a one-bay extension that is also two storeys high, featuring one blind window on each floor, both under gauged skewback arches. At the rear, there is a gabled two-storey cross wing with 19th-century horned sashes at intervals, also under gauged skewback arches.
