Description
Hill House is a house built in the late 18th century, with later additions to the left and rear. The exterior features rendered brick that is scored to imitate ashlar, topped with a black pantile roof and a rendered plinth. The two-storey facade has five bays, with a central porch supported by fluted Doric columns. Above the porch is a frieze with triglyphs and fluted pilaster responds. The double doors consist of three panels each, with the upper panels glazed, and there is a tripartite over-light in the center with radiating glazing bars. The corners of the building have pilasters that support a brick dentil eaves cornice. There are two internal gable stacks made of gault brick and stone coped gable parapets. The rear features a gutter with lion heads.
