Description

The tower at Dilham Hall is a 15th-century structure, believed to be part of a gatehouse. It was restored in 1904 and is constructed from flint with stone dressings. The tower has a polygonal shape and features two slit windows facing west, a rebuilt round-headed doorway at the rear, a loophole in the north angle, and a domed brick ceiling. There is also a doorway leading to an upper room, and brick buttresses added during the 1904 restoration, along with restored buttlements. At the time of the last survey, the tower was completely obscured by vegetation.
