Description

The gatehouse at Nashdom Abbey, built around 1912, features a symmetrical design with a central carriage entrance flanked by outer wings that are angled at 45 degrees. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and has a machine tile roof with prominent chimneys where the centre and wings meet. The entrance is highlighted by Tuscan columns that support an entablature, and it is fitted with wooden gates that have concave tops. The outer wings include sash windows and hipped dormer windows.
