Description
The walls of the Rose Garden at Nashdom Abbey were built around 1912. They form a circular section in plan, with walls flanking the base and a surrounding wall that stands 12 feet high. The structure is made of stock brick, featuring a brick plinth and cement rendered coping. Around the circumference, there are eight square red brick piers, each one and a half bricks wide, topped with stone copings, which create a pergola. The paths within the garden are made of York stone.
