Description
The stables and outbuilding, located 20 meters north of Burcott House, date from the 17th to 18th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th century. They form the northern side of a farmyard that includes a barn and the house. The stables consist of four timber-framed bays with later brick infill, along with two 19th-century brick bays on the right. The building features a thatched roof and a brick chimney on the right side. There are four stable doors and four barred wooden casements, as well as two board doors and a 19th-century casement in the right bays. To the left, a lower outbuilding connects with the barn and is constructed of weatherboard with a tiled roof. This structure is included for its group value.
