Description
Moseley Lodge is a house that dates from the 16th to 17th century, with alterations and partial rebuilding around 1890. The left part of the building is constructed from brick with a flint plinth, featuring a partial band course on the left bay. The right bay is made of flint with brick dressings and a band course. The roof is half-hipped and covered with old tiles, and there are two brick chimneys from around 1890 situated between the right bays. The house has two storeys and three and a half bays. The upper storey features four wooden casement windows from 1890, each with two lights and small gables above, while the ground floor windows are irregularly placed. There is a half-glazed door and a gabled timber porch located between the right bays. At the rear, there is an outshot. Inside, the original rear wall displays timber framing, and the left bay contains heavy longitudinal joists. There are two trusses with slightly arched chamfered tie beams and queen struts, along with a stop-chamfered cross beam in the right bay.
