Description

This is a late 18th-century house with an attached barn. It is located on Hughenden Speen Road in North Dean. The house is constructed of brick with a tiled roof and altered chimneys. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are wooden casements; the right bay has a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window on the first floor above 20th-century French doors. A 20th-century half-glazed door is located on the right side. The left gable displays two narrow horizontal bands of brickwork and a blocked oval attic window. A narrow flint and brick extension and a small barn covered in weatherboard are situated at the right end of the house. The barn has a hipped thatched roof, a board door, and a small slated lean-to at the right end. The house is covered in ivy.
