Description
No. 7 Little Ickford is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame with plastered infill. The building was extended around 1977 by adding two bays with applied fake framing. It has an old tile roof and consists of three original 17th-century bays and two newer bays. The house is 1½ storeys high, with the entrance located between the third and fourth bays, accessed through a tiled open porch in front of the stack, creating a lobby entry plan. There are five 2-light casement windows and 2-light gabled eaves dormers on all but the right-hand bay. A 17th-century stack is situated between the third and fourth bays, while a modern stack is found between the first and second bays. The roof is hipped to the right, and there is a 1½ storey rear wing. Inside, the property features a single aspect inglenook and stop-chamfered spine beams.
