Description
Kilnwood Cottage is a late 18th century or early 19th century building that was formerly attached to a brickfield. It is constructed of red brick and features a handmade tile roof. The cottage has a rectangular plan with angle quoins and parapets, standing two storeys tall. The detailing is executed in moulded bricks, with square openings set into the brickwork for the architrave. Above the entablature, there is a parapet, and the short sides of the building are adorned with pediments. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with moulded surrounds and pediments, while the first floor also has two casement windows with moulded surrounds and cornices. The entrance is located in a porch that has a brick pediment.
