Description

Batts Cottage is a late 18th-century building with a symmetrical facade on the west side, featuring two storeys and an attic, with two windows above four. The cottage has a hipped tile roof, brick dentilled eaves, and two hipped dormers, along with a central large chimney stack. The walls are constructed of red brickwork with flint panels, and there are segmental arches on the ground floor with brick tympana. The windows are early 20th-century casements. There is also a modern solid brick porch topped with a tile roof.
