Description
Forge House and Forge Cottage are medieval buildings with elements from the 17th century, featuring a casing of red and grey brick from the 18th century. The roof is tiled and hipped at the north end, with dentil eaves. The structure has two storeys and includes four casement windows with two and three lights on the ground floor, all set under brick arches. There is a blocked door on the extreme left, a modern gabled porch on the left, and a lean-to porch on the right for Forge Cottage. The first floor has five windows, all under brick arches except for two on the left. Inside, there are remains of a cruck truss in the first bay from the left, along with 17th-century timbering and a stack.
