Description
Numbers 1 and 3 Red Lion Cottages are early 17th century buildings that have been refaced and extended in the 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature an old tiled roof that is hipped at the north end, along with an old brick stack located in the center. The ground floor has six casement windows, two modern glazed doors, and two modern enclosed porches with tiled roofs. The first floor also has six casement windows, which are arranged in two and three lights. Inside, the central two bays display 17th century timber framing and a chimney stack with fireplaces on both floors. There are remains of an original gable window visible internally.
