Description
The chapel at Swanbourne House School, originally a garden room, was built around 1865. It is constructed of white brick with stone dressings, featuring a plinth, moulded eaves cornice, and pedimented gables with plain window surrounds. The building is one storey high and has a south front with three bays, which includes French doors flanked by sash windows. The west side has a similar arrangement but with narrower sash windows, a louvred roundel in the tympanum, and a small wooden dovecote to the right. Inside, the chapel has wooden trusses supporting the roof.
