Description
The Hermitage at Dorney Court is a 19th-century folly cottage constructed from flint and rubble with some brick. It features a slate roof and has three brick chimneys on the outside walls. The original structure consisted solely of an octagonal tower that rises to two storeys, with windows positioned on alternate sides. One-storey buildings were added around the tower. The north front includes an open porch supported by four round brick columns and topped with a flat roof. Most of the windows have small paned glazing, although some are fitted with Gothick glazing bars.
