Description
The Eton Dorney Project Conference Centre, formerly known as the Vicarage, is a building that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. It features colour-washed brick and old tile roofs and stands two storeys tall. The left section of the building, which is from the 16th and 17th centuries, has a projecting gable on the right side. On the first floor, there is a 3-light casement window with a cambered brick relieving arch, and on the ground floor, there are two 2-light French windows.
To the left, there is a 3-bay facade with three mullioned and transomed windows beneath barge-boarded gables at the eaves level. The ground floor includes one 4-light and two 3-light casements, one of which has square paned leaded lights, all featuring cambered brick relieving arches. The right section of the building is timber-framed and square in plan. The first floor has three sash windows set under the eaves, while the ground floor includes a 6-panel door beneath a timber hood supported by brackets and two sashes with cambered brick relieving arches. All windows are fitted with marginal glazing bars.
