Description

The Entrance Lodge at Dorney Court is an early 19th-century building located on Dorney Village Road. It features a cement-rendered exterior and a slate roof with a central brick chimney and a moulded plaster eaves cornice. The lodge is two storeys high, with the first floor showcasing two 2-light casement windows that have small panes of glass. The ground floor includes a cast iron trellis-work veranda topped with a tented roof. Inside, there is a central door flanked by two 2-light casements, which have cambered brick relieving arches; one of these windows is blocked. To the left of the door, there is a small modern window, and to the right, there is a one-storey lean-to wing.
