Description
The Gatehouse is a 19th-century pair of cottages that have been converted into one house. It is likely constructed using bricks from Palmer Brickworks, Kilnwood, near Burnham Beeches. The building features red-blue brickwork and a slate roof with two chimney banks running along the ridge. There is a heavy moulded brick eaves cornice. The house is two storeys tall, with the first floor displaying two sash windows on either side of a central blank window. The ground floor has paired central doors, one of which is blocked, and a modern timber lattice-work porch. There are also two 2-light casement windows, surrounded by a glazed area. All windows have segmental heads and glazing bars.
