Description

The Old Brewery at Dorney Court was built in 1780. It features red brick construction with a timber-framed gable and a fishscale tile roof. A timber cupola with a pointed tiled roof crowns the building. The entrance includes a boarded door set beneath a cambered brick relieving arch, and there is a large opening filled with weather-boarding. Inside, the brewery retains its original copper used for brewing, which was intended to supply the three public houses on the estate.
