Description

The barn and outbuildings located to the southeast of Home Farmhouse date from the early 18th century and consist of a timber-framed barn with weatherboarding, a rubble stone plinth, and a half-hipped roof made of corrugated asbestos. The barn features five bays and has a central cart entry. It is supported by double queen strut trusses on braced tie beams, which have shaped jowls. Attached to the north is a lower range that dates from the late 18th to 19th century, constructed of red brick with remnants of a moulded plinth, a weatherboarded gable, and a corrugated asbestos roof.
