Description

Ashling is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and later. The left gable features a timber frame with brick infill and weatherboarding at the top. The front is made of brick, topped with an old tile roof and a brick stack located between the right-hand bays. The cottage has one storey and an attic, consisting of three bays. The ground floor has 20th-century barred wooden casements, with three lights, and there are paired casements in the central dormer. A 20th-century door is positioned between the right-hand bays.
