Description
Lace Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th to 17th century. It features a timber frame with waved braces, whitewashed brick infill, and a rendered plinth, while the left gable is constructed entirely of brick. The cottage has a thatched roof with a brick stack on the left gable. It is two storeys high with an attic and consists of one bay. On the ground floor, there is a small tiled lean-to on the left with a paired barred wooden casement window at the front and a small window on the side. The centre has a similar three-light casement window. The first floor features a three-light leaded casement window, and to the right, there is a six-panel door with a minimal wooden hood supported by cut brackets.
