Description

This is an early 18th-century house located on Horn Street in Winslow. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with moulded brick eaves, and has an old tile roof with brick coped gables. A central chimney stack is built of plum-coloured brick with red corner details. The house is two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The windows are 20th-century wooden casements: 3-light windows flank a 2-light window on each floor. A lower right-hand window has a colourwashed brick arch. Two dormers contain 20th-century paired wooden casements with pediments above. The central entrance features a 6-panel door, which is top-lit, with a wooden frieze panel carved with a lozenge design. The door surround incorporates pilaster strips, scroll brackets with reeding and rope ornament, and a flat wooden cornice hood.
