Description
Hunt's Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a 19th-century rear range. The north range is timber framed with brick infill, which is exposed on the north elevation. The remainder of the building and the south-west wing are constructed of brick and brick-cased. The roofs are covered with old tiles. The north range has two storeys, while the south-west wing, built in the early 18th century, also has two storeys and features two dormers facing the road. The timber framed elevation of the north range includes heavy posts and large curved braces, with a half-hip that faces the road. This range continues west in later 19th-century brickwork, which is two storeys high and has eaves that break the upper floor windows. The early 18th-century south-west wing is made of red brick with grey headers, consisting of three bays, a central door, and casement windows, with cross-casements on the first floor. The south gable elevation is rendered.
