Description
The walls, railings, gate piers, and gates at the north entrance to Mount Tabor House were constructed around 1870-1880. The gate piers are made of red brick and feature moulded brick panels, stone bands above, and moulded stone caps. The low brick walls curve towards the piers and are topped with chamfered stone caps and iron railings. The railings are adorned with tall arcaded motifs, each containing a small flower in the arch, and are supported by cast iron posts with ball finials. The gates are similar in style and feature a fine wrought iron scrolled crest.
