Description

The Pump House is a covered gateway, resembling a lychgate, that houses two water pumps. It was built around 1877 and is constructed of brick with a timber, hipped tiled roof featuring small gablets. Inside, there is a herringbone brick floor with small stone basins located beneath the pumps, which are enclosed in wooden casings. The structure was designed to be the focal point of a picturesque group of estate cottages and is included for its group value.
