Description
No. 50 High Street is an 18th-century cottage constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and roughcast on a rubblestone plinth. The cottage features an old tile roof and consists of two bays and two storeys, with a single-storey addition to the west and a rear addition that faces the road. The gable of the house is oriented towards the road, and there is a central door topped by a shallow pitched tiled hood. The windows are two-light horizontal sliding sashes with small panes, and there are gable stacks. The west addition has a pantile roof, while the rear addition is made of rubblestone with brick dressings and features a corrugated iron roof, a garage door, and a stable window.
