Description

Old Chequers Cottage is a building from the 18th and 19th centuries, constructed of flint and brick with some local sandstone. It features a hipped roof covered with old tiles and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor has a modern three-light casement window, while the first floor has a two-light casement window from the 19th century. On the south elevation, the left side is a 19th-century addition with sandstone panels, and there is a door on the right. The north elevation is notable for its large projecting chimney stack.
