Description

The Flint Cottage is a mid-19th century building, possibly designed by E B Lamb as a curate's house for Prestwood Church. It is constructed of flint with quoins and dressings in various colors, topped with a fishscale pattern tiled roof. The cottage has two storeys, and the garden front features a central door with a pointed arch, flanked by canted bay windows that also have fishscale tile roofs. On the first floor, there are two-light pointed windows. Notably, large flint crosses are present in the gable walls.
