Description

The barn at Collings Hanger Farm, dating from the 18th century, features a timber-framed structure built on a base of brick and flint, with weatherboarded walls. It has an old tiled roof that is hipped at the west end. On the north side, there are two gabled cart entries. Attached to the west end are a stable and a granary. Inside, the barn consists of seven bays, with jowled posts and curved braces supporting the tie beams, along with raking queen posts that hold up a single purlin roof.
