Description
Prestwood Park House is a former vicarage, now serving as an old people's home, built in 1849 by E B Lamb. The building is constructed of rubble flint with sandstone quoins and limestone dressings, topped with a tiled roof that features projecting blocks of sandstone along the gable verges. It has stone stacks, with a prominent one on the south wing that has four clustered shafts.
The house is two storeys tall, with the east elevation showcasing three gables, the leftmost of which is set forward. There is a door with a Tudor arch situated between the two right-hand gables. Each side of the door features two single light windows. The stone mullioned windows include a 4-light window on the left of the ground floor and a 3-light window above it, along with a 2-light stair window to the left of the door and a 3-light window on the first floor to the right. Attic vents are present in the gables.
To the right, there is a wall enclosing a service yard, complete with gate piers. The service wing, located on the far right, is a single storey with an attic, featuring one upper window in the gable with tile hanging above and a gabled loft door in the north roofslope.
