Description

Cherry Cottage is a 20th-century building located on Green Lane in Prestwood, Great Missenden. It is a two-storey structure constructed primarily of brick with a tile roof, and features a traditional architectural style characterised by gables and some areas of tile hanging. An earlier, two-storey section is attached, finished with whitewashed render and a central chimney stack. The building is listed for its historical significance as the former residence of the first Earl Attlee, KG, OM, CH, PC, who served as Prime Minister.
