Description
The Church of Holy Trinity, built in 1849 by E B Lamb, is located on the west side of Wycombe Road in Prestwood, Great Missenden. The church is constructed of flint with local Denner Hill sandstone quoins and limestone dressings. It features a nave and chancel, both topped with steeply pitched blue tiled roofs, and stone coped gables adorned with cross finials. A tall bellcote is situated on the west gable, with a lower baptistery or porch extending beyond it. There is also a vestry on the north-east side. Inside, the church has wide squat nave arcades and scissor braced roofs that display an unusual design.
