Description
The barn and attached outbuilding located to the north of Great Hundridge Manor date from the 18th century. The barn is timber framed, weatherboarded, and has an old tile roof. It features a projecting gabled cart entry on the north side, which now serves as a carriageway to the service yard. Inside, the barn consists of five bays, with the three western bays remaining open and showcasing a double purlin roof supported by queen struts. The eastern part of the barn has been converted into a dwelling. The other ranges are constructed of brick and also have old tile roofs, with modern casements. There is a 20th-century north wing that includes a carriage arch. This structure is included for its group value.
