Description

This bridge, located to the north of Thornborough, dates from the 18th century and features a brick re-casing of an older rubble stone structure. It is built in English bond and has four pointed arches. The bridge has a very low parapet that includes later posts and railings. On the west side, there are two cut-waters and offset brickwork on the two right-hand arches. The east side also displays offset brickwork and stepped corbels beneath the parapet.
