Description

Old Bridge House is a small house dating from the 17th to 18th centuries. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings, and has a thatched roof with end stacks on the main block. The house comprises a cottage with a converted outbuilding, which is attached at an angle to the east end. The cottage has one-and-a-half storeys. The front of the cottage features casement windows to the left, with a paired arrangement on the ground floor, and a three-light window under a thatched eyebrow above. A gabled timber porch shelters the front door to the right. The former outbuilding has a board door to the left and a single casement window to the right. Modern casement windows are located in the gable end and facing the road.
