Description

This is a house with an attached barn, dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The right side of the house displays a timber frame construction with brick infill. The front of a projecting bay on the right has a rendered finish and tile hanging, likely over timber framing. The remainder of the front facade was rebuilt using chequer brickwork with a moulded plinth. The roof is tiled and has a rebuilt brick chimney situated between the two wings. The property has an L-shaped layout and two storeys, with two bays facing the front. The left bay and the left return of the right bay feature three-light wooden casement windows with cambered heads. A 20th-century door is located on the left side of the barn. The barn itself has a coursed rubble stone plinth, painted weatherboarding above, an old tile roof, and a boarded opening on its left side.
