Description
This barn, located approximately 30 metres south of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn was formerly weatherboarded but is now largely clad in corrugated iron. It consists of three bays and has central opposed double-leaf plank doors. The principal trusses include tie beams with curved braces and queen struts supporting the principal rafters. The purlins were renewed in the 20th century. Attached to the rear right is a single-storey, two-bay outbuilding that is open on posts to the east side, which likely served as a cart standing originally.
