Description

This is a cottage located at 34 Worminghall Road, dating from the 17th century and altered in the 18th century. It is timber-framed with colourwashed infill brick on the ground floor and plaster on the first floor, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has two bays and is 1½ storeys high. There is an off-centre door, wide ground floor casements with a single light to the left and two to the right. It features two 2-light eaves dormers and flanking stacks, with the left stack being external. The south gable wall is constructed of colourwashed rubblestone, dressed with brick, and has 18th-century brickwork at the gable. The cottage is connected to No. 32, which is of no special interest.
