Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century that has been altered over time. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring colourwashed plaster and brick infill, and part of the ground floor is made of colourwashed rubblestone. The roof is covered with old tiles, half hipped to the right and sweeping down over a single-storey projection in bay 3, which also has a right-hand lean-to addition. The house consists of four bays and is 1½ storeys high. The east front has an entry in a porch created by the extension of the roof of the front projection in bay 3. The left-hand bays have casement windows, and there are two gabled dormers with two lights each. A gable stack is located on the left-hand side, with two central chimneys positioned on either side of the centre truss. Inside, the house features chamfered and stopped spine beams, inglenook fireplaces, and straight purlin and tie-beam braces.
