Description
6 Nup End Lane is a house that dates from the 17th to 18th century and has been altered over time. The front wall has been rebuilt and is covered with whitewashed roughcast, while some timber framing can be found inside. The house features a thatched roof and a central brick chimney. It is one and a half storeys tall and consists of two bays. The windows are 20th-century barred wooden casements, with the ground floor windows set in canted bay windows and two-light windows on the first floor, partly in thatch. There is a central lobby entry with a 20th-century door. The house has single bay extensions on either side, both with roughcast walls and tile roofs. The left extension is two storeys high, with a matching ground floor window and a three-light casement above. The right extension is one and a half storeys tall, featuring a garage entry and a 20th-century upper casement.
