Description

Milestone located 17 miles from London, marked on a map from 1799. It is made of squared stone with a pyramidal top. The inscription facing the road reads "London 17 Oxford 37 Beaconsfield 6," while the inscription facing east states "Uxbridge 2." This milestone was intended to be placed on the north side of the road.
