Description

The Old Forge and Forge Cottage, which form a single building, date to the 17th century and were later refronted. They are timber-framed with colour-washed cement rendering and brick. The roof is covered with handmade tiles. The building has four gables and two storeys. It features a five-window range with five 2-light casement windows on each floor. The ground floor includes two modern glazed doors; the left-hand door is sheltered by a timber hood supported by brackets. A right-hand bay was added to create an entrance to the garage, featuring glazed sliding doors. All windows have glazing bars.
