Description
The surrounding wall at Denham Place, along with the coach house attached by a rear gate, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, standing 10 feet high and extending 450 meters in length. The coping is made of vertically laid bricks that are raked to a point. At the rear entrance to Denham Place, there is a range of weatherboarded coach houses topped with a hipped tiled roof, which is prominent from the village green. This section of the wall runs from Denham Avenue to the southern end of Pyghtlee Footpath.
